The nature of hand dyes

Due to variances of weather, humidity, and things beyond my control, (including my cat), most of my multi colored pieces are going to be one of a kind. The single colors I can pretty much duplicate from my notes and recipes. I usually dye in 1/2 yard and 1 yard lots but can do fat quarters if there is enough interest. I can also do up to a 3 yard piece but that would have to be a special order.
All fabrics are 100% cotton, cotton lawn, or cotton muslin. I use both bleached and unbleached fabrics as a base. They are all washed and rinsed several time to remove the excess dyes, however, I suggest you do an additional wash in hot water with Synthropol to make sure any stray dye is removed.
